Friends,

Meet handsome Wyatt!  What a great dog he is.  Wyatt is an approximately 2-year-old lab/ Great Dane mix and weighs in at 93 pounds of beautiful doggie.

Wyatt’s story is sad.  Scout’s Honor adopted him out when he was a puppy.  Unfortunately, Wyatt’s prior owner fell on some hard times and has returned him to us.  He is up for adoption, and really needs a foster in the interim !

Wyatt is such a good dog.  He is 100% potty trained.  He sits, stays, speaks, rolls over, shakes, and crawls for treats.  He also knows to "leave it," lay, gentle, and down.  He is intelligent and will do anything for you.  

Wyatt knows he does not jump on people unless invited, but he sometimes forgets. When he gets excited, he thinks he is a bull and will buck his body around in circles.  It’s really cute!!! When he needs/wants to go outside, he will scratch at the door so keeping his nails trimmed would be a great idea!!

Wyatt LOVES kids, other dogs, and all people. He will let kids ride his back and pull his tail, and he loves to cuddle with them.  He may make himself comfortable at the end of a child’s bed (he thinks of himself as one of them).  He does not have a mean bone in his body.

Wyatt loves his crate and would prefer that you keep it open for him at all times.  It is better that he is crated while your out because he does miss you during the day and will express it by chewing on things.  He is the biggest couch potato and loves to watch movies.  Occasionally, he will put his 2 cents in while watching Animal Planet!

He does great on a leash except when he sees a cat.  He has a handsome stride; just like a horse.  When he wants attention he will lay his head in your lap.  He loves to be scratched on the neck and have you work your way to his back.  He is a boy who knows what he wants!

He also loves the outdoors. Swimming, walking, running, or pretty much anything outside.  But does not like to be left outside.  He LOVES car rides and wants to hang his head out the window.

Wyatt is a loyal buddy and very committed to pleasing people.  You absolutely, positively can’t go wrong by adopting or fostering him!
