Vinny

Hi, My name is Vinny.  I am a small Chihuahua with a big heart!   I love to be close to my foster mom on the couch and get chin rubs.  I roll over on my back and show her my adorable little face.  I am low maintenance and happy to curl up on your lap for as long as you will let me!  It is a great way to relax at the end of a busy day.   I am around 10 pounds and approximately 18 months old.   I have a lot of living left to do!  I am fully vetted and up to date on shots.   

Wow! I discovered the toy box at my foster mom's house.   I have such fun taking each dog toy out of the box one by one and playing my heart out with it.   Then I go back and take out another toy, and another, and another!   I can entertain myself for hours with all of the great toys.
I am such a good boy.   I like walks around the block a couple of times a day so I can socialize and see what is happening around town.  You need some exercise too, right?  Mom takes me for a morning walk and an evening walk so I can socialize, go potty, and get my exercise.   I like to stretch my long tiny delicate deer-like legs.   Speaking of legs, Scouts Honor Rescue rescued me from BARC (the city pound) with a broken leg.   Scouts Honor Rescue pulled me out of BARC pronto and took me to get my leg fixed up.  I am good as new now.  I really missed walking and playing while I was in a cast for 8 weeks.   Freedom sure feels good!
I have excellent hearing and I make a great watchdog.   I will let you know if anyone is walking up the driveway to the door.   I am a great doorbell or alarm and I don't even need batteries!   Just give me love, food, water, and some basic care and I am your man.
Since I am a small dog I can live in just about any size home.    I am a great cuddler & I love to sit in laps for as long as you let me.
