Twenny says that he knows his name seems strange (pronounced like twenty without the t) but he is one cute and loveable guy. Twenny is an Australian Shepherd mix who is about 1 1/2 years old and weighs about 50 lbs. Poor Twenny was turned in by his owners, and left to die at BARC (Houston pound), because he had too much energy. Well, what do you expect from a young dog who probably received no training from his owners. Poor Twenny spent 3 months locked up at BARC before we found him. The BARC volunteers who knew Twenny said that he's just a fun-loving, energetic, young boy. Aussies are very smart dogs so he should take to training very well and would probably excel if you wanted to train him to do many things.  His foster dad thinks he's a great boy and he does wonderful at his house.  He stays home all day and does great alone.  He is house-trained and crate-trained as well. 

Twenny is neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccinations and heartworm negative. Twenny is just a bundle of happiness looking for a family to call his own that won't get rid of him. Twenny is learning more and more every day and is becoming such a good dog. All he needs is that forever home where he can relax and be safe, knowing that no one will ever throw him away again.
