Turbo

Meet Turbo! Turbo is a HANDSOME male Rottweiler who is about 2-3 years old that we rescued from BARC. Turbo was picked up as a stray when he was seen chasing a female dog in heat. He probably escaped because he wanted to go after that girl (yet another reason to spay and neuter your pets). 

A bit about Turbo now. He is a pure lover boy with any humans, no matter the size or age.  He is such a sweet boy who is energetic and friendly. He was very underweight when we found him and weighed only 77 pounds, but lots of love and groceries have gotten him up to 103lbs as of his last weigh in. Unlike most Rotties, Turbo has more than a little nub, but almost half a tail and when he gets happy it just wags at a thousand miles an hour. Turbo rides great in the car and is just a happy go lucky kind of guy. 

Turbo will melt you with his eyes. They just scream “I Love You” and your heart melts.  He is completely crate and house trained. Walks very well on a leash. Knows sit, down, off, wait and here.  Never gets on furniture but loves a great dog bed.  Turbo sometimes will howl like a wolf at midnight for an unknown reason, it is actually kind of cute.  Turbo is protective of his home and family, and has a great "get away from my house" bark. But when you meet him he will run right up to you then wag his tail like "did i do a good job?" He would love an active person or someone that would play ball with him daily as he is young and still has a lot of energy.  

Turbo does great with other dogs, but can be possessive of his toys/treats.  He is a typical young male Rottie in thinking they are all his.  He does doggie daycare and does well with others.  Once he loves his person he will try to "tell" everyone on a walk that’s passing.  So again a strong leader, maybe a previous Rottie owner would be best for this great guy.  Someone who understands how to redirect him properly, not be too hard on him because he is VERY sensitive and gets his feelings hurt.

All Turbo wants right now is a forever home where he can play and be himself. We know that if you give this guy a chance you will fall in love with him and not regret it. He is ready to be that big goofy buddy that you always wanted by your side. Turbo is up to date on all his shots, neutered, micro-chipped and is heartworm negative as well.
