Truman

Meet Truman and his name does fit as he is a "True gentle Man". Truman is an amazing doggie -- he was abandoned with this mate and their five puppies in the woods to die when a kind stranger rescued them. Sadly, the mamma did not make it but he took very good care of his little babies! Its absolutely amazing that they made it out of there alive. After being rescued from his terrible situation, Truman is adapting to life inside and loving it. Notice the photos of him lying down. That is his favorite position. He had to be coaxed to an upright position for the other photos. If you want a high energy canine friend, Truman is not your man. Truman is a very "laid back" kind of guy, very calm and low energy. He is very smart, loving, and so happy for the attention he receives, but is also content to just lounge around your house. He is crate trained (even loves lying in his crate during the day). He is also almost housetrained too. Truman is progressing wonderfully every day. He is becoming more confident daily. He is a couch potato all the way!!
