Trixie 2

Trixie had a rough start to life and ended up at the La Porte pound where she spent 2 very long months waiting for someone to save her life.  Usually dogs at animal control don’t get much time, much less 2 months but Trixie is a very, very special girl and the animal control officers were determined to save her.  They said they hadn’t seen a sweeter or more deserving dog than Trixie.  Finally, a home was found for Trixie where she has lived happily for the past two years but sadly, Trixie’s family is losing their home and must find a new home for Trixie asap!  Please help us find a home or foster for her!

Trixie’s dad said she has been the best dog he’s ever had the pleasure of sharing his home with.  She is extremely intelligent and learns things very quickly.  Dogs just don’t come any sweeter or more loving than Trixie - she is very motherly towards puppies and small kids.  She can sit and shake.  She is very self sufficient, but loves attention.  She is content to lay on the other end of the couch, but will come running and curl up with you the second you call.   Trixie is excellent with dogs of all shapes and sizes.  She loves her brother Nacho but also gets along very well with the smaller dogs – just take a quick look at the pics.  Trixie is totally housetrained and crate-trained and will come with her crate.  She is just a very easy dog.  A complete love-bug.  She weighs about 50-60 pounds and is about 3-4 years old.  Trixie is spayed, up to date on her shots and micro-chipped too.
