Poor Trixie & Pearl (see Pearl) were the beloved pet of an older woman who was living with her daughter, along with her two dogs....the daughter decided that the older woman could no longer live there and needed to put in a nursing home...which of course does not allow pets....the poor lady wanted to find a home for sweet Trixie and Pearl....they thought their luck had changed and they were on their way to a new life when a foster stepped forward and said she would keep them until they were adopted........well, this person did not keep her commitment to these sweeties but instead dumped them off at Galveston County Animal Control!!!!! Scout's Honor received the email and with the help of a sponsor was able to take in these sweet girls into our program!!! A volunteer picked them up from the pound and they are safe and sound at our kennel!!! They are very, very sweet and obviously a little scared and confused as to why they have been tossed around like a football but that is all in the past and they are on their way to the good life!!! Trixie, appears to be a lab, possibly a little red chow mix - absolutely gorgeous!!! She is also young, about 2 years old. She is spayed, up to date on all of her shots and microchipped too!!!
