Travis is a big, sweet as can be guy.  He is truly an awesome dog with a laid back approach to life.  But, unfortunately, his world has been turned upside down by the sudden and completely unexpected death of his dad.  His mom is very unsure about what is going to happen in her life and therefore has decided to rehome both Travis and his brother, Monk.

Travis is around 8 years old and every bit a sweetie.  He is a little more timid than Monk, but warms up quickly and will be the best friend you ever had.  He leans in as if he is giving you the biggest hug.  He is also not too cool to sneak in a little kiss.  The kids next door are the only ones he knows but they love him and he loves them.  He is such a sweetie that he did not even get upset when the neighbors' dogs dug into his yard repeatedly just to come play.

Travis likes a little walk in the morning and would really love his own comfy bed.  His knee is a little stiff but will be checked out in the coming week.  Most likely just the result of being a bigger, older boy.  Travis would love a home where he is allowed to hangout with his human and not just be in the room off the garage as he has been.  He is an awesome boy who deserves tons of love and attention.  Please let us know if you can offer Travis an amazing foster or forever home.  Travis and Monk do not have to stay together, although it would be nice, but the main thing is to find him a loving home.
