Meet Tina!
She was found as a stray with her pal Lindsey and brought to LaPorte pound. After 7 loooooong weeks Scout Honor came to her rescue and now she is safe in a foster home and is doing absolutely fantastic!
Tina is a smart border collie that is about 2 years young and full grown at 60lbs. She is house trained and leash trained, has all her shots, is micro-chipped and spayed. She is very well behaved in the house and has not chewed on anything else then her beloved toys!
She figured out how to open the toy box after the first time she watched me put toys in it - she is a very smart girl!
Tina loves action and especially if that includes going to the dog park to be able to run freely and roll in the water puddles. She runs off, but comes back to you every 2 minutes to check that you are OK! This lady is very eager to listen to you and to please! Tina learns very fast, runs and turns fast and can jump really high. Being a typical border collie- she is always back stepping and I think that she would be a champion in agility!!! She would also make a great running partner!
Tina is very gentle and when she sits for a treat she takes the treat, puts it on the ground to sniff it if she doesn't know what it is to check it out and then if the treat pass this control she will eat it! As gentle as she is with her treats she is with kids and other dogs, so she would be fantastic dog for any family!!! With kids and dogs she goes up and sniffs very carefully and then evaluates if this is some one she would like to play with or not -what a silly girl. Tina is also a very happy doggie, especially when she plays with her toys and she loves squeaky ones the most! She loves to roll over on her back and throw them up in the air! I t is very entertaining for both of us and absolutely super CUTE!!!
