Tina

Rottweiler (short coat) • Female • Young

This pet is currently "On Trial" with a family.

Sweet Tina was turned into BARC along with her brother Brock. The owner stated that with the difficulties of the pandemic, that he could not keep them although he'd had them both since they were pups. When we heard this it broke our hearts knowing that they went from the only home they knew since they were puppies, to a scary windowless run in the shelter. The shelter staff said that Tina was very scared and growling at the kennel door (because she was TERRIFIED), but once we got there and took her out of the building, she immediately began to relax and laid down right by our volunteer's side to be petted. She rode great in the car to the doggy boarding facility where we took her.
Tina was lucky enough to land a foster home with us right away and only spent one night in boarding.  She does good with other dogs and we have had her with big dogs and a small dog.

Tina is a big girl and weighs close to 100 pounds, but she is not overweight. She is just a lot of girl to love. Please consider giving Tina, or her brother, a chance and let her into your home and she will not disappoint.
