Hello!

My name is Tex and when I was only 3 months old I was hit by a car. I managed to wander into the yard of some nice people who took me to the Emergency Clinic because I was limping. At the Emergency Clinic that day were some kind Scout's Honor Rescue volunteers and a vet tech who agreed to foster me. I was ultimately diagnosed with a fractured femoral head and a broken tibia. That's where the bad news ends. I was then sent to speciality surgeon who performed a FHO and pinned my tibia. I walk totally normally now and want to run and play like a pup.

I also was neutered and microchipped and have all of my shots. I love people, especially my new foster mom who dotingly cares for me, rehabbed me, and has been training me to be a very special, well- behaved dog. I love other dogs and children too. Also, I'm house-trained and crate-trained too. I've been learning hand signals as well, and I think that makes me pretty big stuff cause I'm so smart.
