Meet Tanner!  Sweet little Tanner! Tanner was rescued as a little puppy and adopted to a family that he thought he would get to stay with forever!  Unfortunately, Tanner’s family has decided that kids AND dogs are too much and well, you can’t give away your kids I guess.  Or was it that they expected him to stay small?  Whichever it is, none of it is a good reason.  However, our focus is Tanner and what’s best for him!  Tanner is approximately 18 months old now, weighs 35 pounds and is looking for a new family to make his very own.

Tanner is an inside dog.  He is house trained, crate trained, excellent on a leash and knows all his basic commands.  Tanner LOVES kids and would really, really love to go to a home with some kids to play with!  He is also great with other dogs – big and small.  He goes to the dog park regularly and is fast friends with all the other dogs there.  Tanner loves to be where the action is & really loves to be around people. An active household would be A-okay by him!  Playing fetch is also a favorite of Tanner’s and he would love to have a new family that will throw the ball for him and play with him.  He has a face that will sink your heart, and the way he bops around the house on his little white toes will bring a smile to your face!

Sounds like a great dog, right? HE IS!  We don’t understand the excuses either.  Help us show Tanner that he can have a family that loves him more than he ever thought possible!
