Meet our sweetest Sunday! On our way home from the grocery store, this little lady was doing the street dog trot. Keep moving, keep dodging, trust no one. Well, no one except the nice people with the car full of fresh groceries! One packet of turkey meat later, Sunday was in the car and on her way to the ER vet for a quick once over. With an okay from the vet, we brought Sunday home & today she is in a full time foster home. 

Sunday is about as sweet and gentle as they come. Sunday is approx 5 years old and is full grown at 45lbs. I feel certain that Sunday has waited a very long 5 years for someone, anyone, to stop for her and bring her home. She has had a hard life, clearly has had many, many litters of puppies (happy to say never again!). Her ears had hematomas from chronic, untreated ear infections and shaking her head.  But she is all better now and enjoying her new, fabulous life as an INSIDE dog and lots of couch snuggles.  =)

Sunday LOVES other dogs, but those kitties are way too sneaky for her so she would rather have a home with no kitties in it! We know she had to get along with everyone one the street, so she takes it all in stride- even when they overly excited in front of her. She LOVES belly rubs and falls asleep 30 seconds into one, its the greatest thing in the world. She is also a big fan of chin scratches, head pats, and just about any other form of affection. She also doles out the kisses freely. Sunday hugs you, she nuzzles you, and she sits/curls up on your feet to make sure you are still close. Sunday went in the crate & took a nap without issue. She is also a pleasure to walk on the leash & would make a pretty great running partner if you are into that. You could not ask for a more low-key and gentle, gracious and appreciative girl. Sunday also gets to go to Doggie Day care and has a total blast playing with all the other dogs. When she is there, she is off leash with 20 other dogs and loves them all. She would make a great playmate for another dog and is very tolerant of others!

I see many dogs each day, but not many that melt my heart quite as quickly as Sunday has.
