Meet Sully!
We rescued our sweet boy Sully from BARC on Saturday, January 21st. He was sitting in a cold, dark, tiny cage at BARC suffering after having been shot by some horrible person. Our vet guesses that his leg had been in that shape for at least a week and gangrene had set in and his leg was necrotic. The pain this sweet baby must have experienced is unfathomable! Well, we got him to our emergency vet and he went into surgery last night to have his leg removed as it was beyond saving and they were worried he would become septic if not removed right away. 
We are happy to report that his surgery was a success and he is resting comfortably. He is as good as new, just with 3 legs instead of 4. As you can see from some of the photos, Sully is already able to run around at the park and loves to play fetch! What a little fighter he is!! He will never again be exposed to such horrible people or places. Nothing but the good life for our boy from here on out.
Sully is a Wheaten Terrier and about 2 years old. He seems to be a sweet, sweet boy.
