Meet Sugar - Sugar is one beautiful and super-duper sweet girl looking for her forever home!!! She was recently rescued from the La Porte pound where she was picked up by animal control, along with her brother and their owner didn't come pick them up b/c he didn't want to pay the fines! Her brother was quickly adopted but poor Sugar sat there for almost a month waiting for rescue -- how could we leave this sweet baby? We couldn't and placed her into our adoption program. Sugar is a staffordshire terrier or pit bull mix, mixed with some bull dog. She weighs about 45 pounds. She is spayed, microchipped, up to date on all of her shots and is also heartworm negative. She gets along GREAT with other dogs and loves to run and play. She LOVES to go to the dog park and play with all the other doggies there. She is also quite the cuddler and loves to lay her head in your lap while you pet her!! She has a VERY laid-back personality and is very calm and collected. Her name says it all about her personality - just as sweet and loving as they come. She is about 10 months old and will probably fill out some but won't get any taller. Sugar is also crate trained is also housetrained too!!! You just won't find a sweeter girl than our Sugar. Is Sugar the girl for you???
