Please meet our sweetest Sophie!! Sophie was once a “neighborhood” dog. People fed her, gave her a pat on the head, but never took her in. Sophie had a couple of litters and the neighborhood would happily scoop up a puppy to take home, but never took Sophie home. Until one day, one of the people that fed Sophie could no longer stand to watch her roam the streets scared and alone. They called Scout’s Honor and asked us to please help this special girl & we did! What a gem she has turned out to be!! Sophie is an 18 month – 2 year old Rottie mix of sorts, maybe a little Pittie mixed in there. She has a shiny black coat and adorable white socks on her feet. Her eyes are constantly on you trying to find the best way to please you and is so eager to do so. She loves to ride in cars and wants to play with everyone she meets. She is a gentle, sweet, super laid back girl who is so ready for her very own human to give non-stop love too. She has waited so long for a home of her own and is thriving in doggie day care! Her foster mom adores her and wishes she could keep her to herself! Even our vet was trying to find a way to adopt her! All you have to do is meet Sophie and you will be sunk like the rest of us. Unfortunately Sophie’s foster is moving this weekend and cant keep Sophie any longer and she really needs a new foster ASAP! She is 100% housetrained, great with other dogs & cats. She has lots of kisses to pass out!!

Sophie has been lucky enough to get to stay at doggie day care while she waits for a foster or forever home! She is such a GOOD girl and can be off leash with lots of other doggies all day and she plays so well and loves to share all her toys!! One visit with this girl and you will be in love!
