Meet our little Sophie girl. Sophie was on the “last call” list at one of the area shelters with her sibling. One look at those faces and they were in the car and on their way to safety!! Just take one look at that smiling face! Sophie and her sister were playing & romping like they had no idea they were even at the pound. Talk about living in the moment! Sophie is a stunning petite black lab puppy about 6 months old. Her coat is a thick & shiny & soft as silk with a small white beauty mark on her chest fur just for emphasis. She has those adorably soft ears and loves to have them rubbed. Her soulful soft brown eyes are filled with her devotion to her foster mommy. Sophie is a very sweet, calm, obedient dog. She loves to give puppy kisses and follows her foster mom around the house wherever she goes. Hey, this is the good life and she has caught on to that very quickly! Sophie is extremely smart and very social. She loves all kids, big and small. Truth be told, she loves everyone and will take attention from anyone that looks her way! She loves her doggie toys and is very good about sitting down and amusing herself with them when you don’t feel like playing. She is also kennel trained and housetrained and learned how to “sit” the very first day at her foster home! Beauty, Brains, Sociability, and Obedience, are all rolled into the same package. How could you ask for more? Sophie is spayed, up to date on shots, micro-chipped and on monthly heartworm preventative. She is 6 months old and weighs just under 40 pounds. I would guess she will max out at 50 pounds when full grown. Please excuse her “pound” pictures, we are working on new pics & will have them out this weekend.
