Little Solomon had a very rough start to his life. He and his mother and two brothers were dumped by their irresponsible human at BARC, the Houston city pound. They were rescued them from BARC mid November 2006. Unfortunately, while at the pound, they all caught Distemper. Distemper is a deadly virus with a very low survival rate. Luckily Solomon survived without any serious side effects and is now doing great and looking for his forever home. Solomon looks like a small Chocolate Lab. He is currently about 6 months old, weighs approx 25 pounds, and not expected to get too much larger, maybe another 10 pounds or so. His mother is a blonde Cocker Spaniel mix. Obviously, Solomon takes after his Daddy, whoever that is! Solomon has a sweet disposition and gets along great with other doggies. He is currently in a foster home and is learning the potty routine, how to walk stairs, etc. Solomon has a very minor twitch which is a result of the Distemper. However, it does not require medication or affect him in anyway. Solomon is up-to-date on all his vaccinations, is neutered, and micro-chipped.
