Meet Skippy!  Our sweet little Skippy was picked up in August 2010 by LaPorte Animal Control as a stray.  Sweet boy had a collar on and looked well cared for.  Unfortunately, Skippy was not micro-chipped and his owners never claimed him.  He sat in animal control for about 2 months before Scout's Honor learned about him right before he was scheduled to be put to sleep as the pound was busting at the seems.  Well, he's now safe and sound  and just a very cool dog.  He's currently in boarding where he gets to attend doggie daycare.  He gets along with absolutely every dog, big, little, it does not matter to Skippy.  He's just a happy-go-lucky little guy - knowing he got a second shot at life!  Not only does Skippy get along with other dogs, he's good with cats too!  Skippy is also very well-behaved, knows commands and is house-trained.  What more could you ask for??

 

Skippy is neutered, up to date on vaccinations and micro-chipped.  He's a small guy weighing in at only about 25-30lbs full grown.  Please consider opening your home and heart (as a foster home or forever home) to this precious fella.  We promise you won't regret it!
