ShermanShepherd / Hound / Mixed (short coat) • Male • Young • Medium
Sherman was another owner surrender that we got from Baytown Animal Control. His owners turned him in and said the reason they turned him in was because they were "moving to Houston". He was also left outside all the time tied up with a rope. So this poor boy has probably never enjoyed a bed, air conditioning or the love of a caring person. Despite all this, he is the sweetest boy ever!!. The whole ride home from the shelter he sat in the back of one of our board member's cars being petted by her 4 year old son. All the while he was relaxed and just enjoyed the petting he was getting. He was also great with any other dog we put him near, even some of the super hyper ones that jumped on him trying to play.
Sherman is about a 4 year old shepherd mix and weighs about 70 pounds or so. Please consider bringing this boy home so he can enjoy the love and comfort he was denied his whole life thus far. Let's get this great boy in a foster while he waits for his forever home!
