Meet sweet little Shadow!! Shadow was turned into the La Porte pound by her owner, a teenager who was headed to college and said his apartment would not allow pets :( Poor Shadow was just scared to death and La Porte pound was overflowing with dogs and owner turn-ins are the first to go...thankfully a foster home opened up and she was able to get out of the pound safely.

Her foster mom says Shadow is the best dog - totally housetrained, knows how to use the doggie door, great with kids and other dogs. We aren't quite sure of her breed - she is only about 20 pounds and very petite and we think she is about 6-8 months old and shouldn't get much bigger. She is just one of the doggies that is probably always going to look like a little puppy. So if you love labs but need a smaller dog, Shadow is the girl for you!
