riends, We took on a HUGE challenge in pulling these 2 babies from BARC because of their age and size, but we could not let them be euthanized at BARC. We know they are so worth it though!! Now we really need your help to find them loving homes to live out their rest of their years. Meet Sebastian and Roxy! Sebastian and Roxy are poor victims of their owner's bad decisions. Sebastian and Roxy were 2 of 3 Rottweilers that were confiscated when their owners house was raided in a drug bust. Sebastian and Roxy's owner was dealing drugs and had decided to hide them all under the dog house. So when the house was raided, and their owner arrested, Sebastian, Roxy and their brother McQuill were all confiscated by the City of Houston and sent to BARC. Their owner came back and got McQuill, said he was going to come back for Roxy and Sebastian, but instead left Sebastian and Roxy to their fate. Scout's Honor was called because they were both on the list to be euthanized. They are both amazing dogs, just big babies and we felt horrible for them. They never did anything wrong to end up at BARC, but were there due to their owner's poor decisions. They are just amazing dogs and yes they are a little large, but they are gentle giants!! Sebastian is approximately 10 years old and weighs about 125 lbs now (he was 140 when we got him and had to go on a diet), and Roxy is about 8 years old and weighs in at a trim 112 pounds. They are both sweet older dogs who just want somewhere safe and quiet where they can happily live out their golden years. They are siblings, but can go to separate forever homes with no problem. They are older Rotties, so they would be total couch potatoes.

Sebastian is in a foster home and doing great. He is great in the house; loves to just hang out and lay around; will follow you from room to room; ok with older kids because he is possessive over toys; loves to bury his tennis balls outside; loves stuffed animals; needs a previous rottie owner who understands they can be vocal not mean but vocal; someone who will stand their ground even though he is 10 years old; and someone who will keep up his diet and medications. He would probably be a great single dog, but does currently live with other dogs and does fine; loves short walks in the evenings (almost 1 mile now) and he is now 125 lbs. He loves being brushed if you can get past his "grumbles" when you get to his hips and belly. He's just a wonderful older rottie that wants nothing more than to lean on you and be loved!
