Meet Scottie!

Scottie was found crossing W. Alabama St., a very busy street. He was nearly hit by a car in doing so and it was clear when we saw him this little guy that he didn't belong roaming on the streets. When we approached him, he certainly wasn't hard to catch and ran right into our arms, he wanted help. He must have been roaming for a while as he was extremely dirty, was heartworm positive and had a lot of fleas. He's safe and sound now and currently being fostered with 3 big dogs, a pit bull, a rottweiler, and a greyhound. He's extremely friendly with other dogs and has bonded with each dog in a unique way. He and the pit bull have become best of friends and when he's not playing with her, he's usually cuddling with her or just laying on her. He can't get enough love from humans and just seems happy to have food, water, and a loving home to call his own. He's potty trained, only barks at stimuli, specifically strangers approaching or walking by the house, but we suspect that's just because the other dogs do, he likes to fit in. He's very well behaved, and is a very low maintenance dog, other than being an attention hog. While a little wary with strangers at first, he warms up fast and likes loving from all people. Won't you consider giving this sweet boy a loving home of his very own?!

Scottie is neutered, up to date on his vaccinations, micro-chipped and on monthly flea and heartworm preventative. He's a young little guy, about 1 year old and some kind of shepherd mix
