Sawyer 2

Sweet Sawyer was called into our hotline when someone found him chained under a bridge on the edge of downtown last year. He had apparently been there for days in the freezing raining prior to anyone contacting us. Within an hour Sawyer was on his way to us and safe! Sawyer was pretty nervous when we got him, but has settled in nicely with our trainer and is just about ready to go to up for adoption!  

Sawyer is 5-6 year old Golden Retriever and he weighs approximately 65 pounds. He has a sugar-face that will want lots of kisses and a fluffy, gorgeous golden cat. He is good with other dogs, but most importantly, wants a human that will be his pack leader and show him the way. He needs a special home who is willing to work with the stuff that still worries him from being on the streets (like running out of food!)  Sawyer would do best in a home without children as he wants to be the #1 kid at home. In true retriever fashion, he will play fetch as long as you will throw the ball!!!
