Hopefully, all of you are familiar with Sanford (formerly "Red") and Lamont by now! They were once the "Junkyard Babies." We are still looking for a foster for them, but GOOD NEWS, they are no longer contagious and have been in general boarding at our vet for 2 weeks! So they can now go to a home with other dogs.
A short recap -- Sanford and Lamont were rescued from a junkyard well over a month ago. They have been at our vet ever since. They were in AWFUL condition when we rescued them (a couple of the before pictures are attached). Lamont had an awful tic, and both had terrible skin conditions and were covered in motor oil. That was then, but they are NOW doing wonderfully!
Sanford (the brown one) is super fun and playful. He is very confident and does well with other dogs. Lamont (the black one) is a little more timid, but is doing extremely well. His tic has been treated with Phenobarbital and is almost undetectable.
Although it is not required, I would still love to try to place them together because Lamont is much happier and more confident when Sanford is around. They are both between 1-2 years old and such loving dogs.
I just know there is someone out there who can give these poor, well-deserving dogs the foster home they deserve! As always, Scout's Honor will cover all costs associated with fostering and provide crates.
