My name is Sam and I am looking for my forever home.  Here’s my story:   I was found wondering the streets in the suburbs.  I was really hungry and exhausted – I slept a lot!  My rescuers looked and looked for my family, but could not find them.  After contacting SCOUTS HONOR RESCUE, they took me in to the vet and had me fixed up with all my medical needs – I even got a bath.  I am good to go!  Now, that I found a great foster home, I am waiting patiently until my forever home is found.  Thanks to my rescuers , my vet caregivers, and foster family, I now weigh about ~80 lbs and am a blond lab. Yes, I know I am adorable – once you get to know me, you’ll see that I am really good at “the you-can’t-resist-me look.”  Let me show you how sweet natured I am.  I am friendly with dogs of all sizes and I even like cats!  I also love people - big, small, young or old I don't care as long as your are willing to pet me!  I’m not puppy-like since I am about 6 years old. I am fully vetted and now have a microchip -- so, I’ll never be lost again! Yeah for me!
