FOSTER NEEDED FOR SENIOR!
 

We have a need for a new foster for a very special guy. Sam the Rottie's foster mom unfortunately had health issues and was unable to continue taking care of Sam and he went from a home to back in boarding since MAY!  Sam is the last Rottie remaining from the 250 that were confiscated by the SPCA and saved from a horribly neglectful situation.

 

Sam is currently in boarding, but he really would love and benefit to get back into a quiet home where he can chill out. Please consider letting Sam in your home, as he is very low maintenance.

 

Sam is an older man who is probably about 8-10 years old, and is in pretty good health (other than his arthritis). Sam was really great about staying by himself while his foster mom was at work and never got into anything while he was alone. He seemed a little too interested in his foster mom's cat, so a cat-free home would be best for him since we don't want him trying to get too active, otherwise he could hurt himself.  He does just fine with other low-key medium to large dogs, but younger, high energy dogs are just too much for him and can make him upset.  Sam is just a big teddy bear and would do best in a low-key home where he can just relax and enjoy his golden years.  Please help us find him a home to call his own - something this sweet boy has been neglected of his whole life.
