Oh my gosh-meet adorable Rusty! Rusty is a young (probably around a year old), Parson Jack Russell Terrier mix who was rescued from the Sugar Land Animal Control. Did I say Oh My Gosh?! He is too cute for words! He is a scruffy little bundle of love that weighs about 25 pounds and is packed with adorableness. Unfortunately, the attached pictures simply do not do him justice.

Rusty's foster mom says he is super smart. In the short week she has had him, he has learned to walk on a leash, and while he is still trying to decide how he feels about the crate, he has not had an accident in there. Rusty is very affectionate with both humans and dogs alike, and he L-O-V-E-S to get and give kisses.

Rusty is very energetic, but he is not destructive, and his foster mom has had no problems with him destroying anything except a good treat (hehehe, how cute is that?!). He likes to sleep in the bed with foster mom and is like having a little heater. He is very attentive to what his going around him and quick to spot a stray cat in the bushes or a dog approaching from a distance. He is not mean or aggressive and likes to sit on my patio and talk to the people that go by. He and his foster sister Lucy have become fast friends and share a water bowl and their treats.

Rusty would be a wonderful companion, and is so smart, he would excel with additional training! In fact, Rusty is so smart that he already knows where the treats are kept and will go and wait patiently at the cupboard door if you ask him if he wants one.
