Please meet precious Ruby and Lucy! Shockingly, we found these two sweeties on the side of the freeway. They are now safe and sound in a foster home, but they need permanent, loving homes in time for Christmas! Ruby and Lucy appear to be full-bred Australian Shepherd puppies (if anything, they are certainly Aussie mixes). They are approximately 9 weeks old. They are up to date on their shots and will be spayed as soon as they are old enough. Ruby is a red & white merle Aussie mix. She's a little shy but loves a good roll in the dirt and game of chase. Lucy is a black & white Aussie mix, a ball of fur who loves to chew on leaves and play tug-of-war with her sister. They're both snuggle-bunnies that give really good kisses. Scout's Honor has a mandatory 3-week hold on all found/rescued puppies, so these girls will be able to go home on Thursday, December 6. You better get your application in now for these cuties! Ruby and Lucy are up for adoption by Scout's Honor Rescue, Inc. (SHR). SHR is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit animal rescue organization. All animals are spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and microchipped. There is a $125 adoption fee which helps defray SHR's costs.
