Roxy has had a pretty rough life, but was just determined to survive. Roxy was dumped at Meadowlake Pet Resort the week they first opened. She was heartworm positive, had ear and eye infections, plus sarcoptic and demodectic mange and was emaciated. She could hardly walk. These good Samaritans there rushed her to the vet, where she had to stay for a few weeks.
Well, Miss Roxy has come a long way! Sheâs gained weight and her personality just flourishes everyday! Just look at her pictures where she displays her fancy toenails. A girl has to have pedicures, right? She is currently undergoing treatment for heartworms and will then be spayed and can then go to her forever home!
