Friends meet Rosie! She is an amazing American Pitbull Terrier who was left behind when her "family" moved out of their house and into an apartment. Fortunately, for her there was a wonderful lady in this not so great neighborhood that tried to protect Rosie from the horrors of the neighborhood.

This poor baby escaped from her yard days after the family moved, obviously looking for food and water. When given food Rosie was happy to share with the other neighborhood dogs that would come up to eat, even though they all still had homes to go back to. And though Rosie was just trying to figure out what had happened in her world, the majority of the neighbors were not so kind to her. This baby has been shot at, sprayed, taunted with sticks and even swung at with baseball bats. The lady did her best fending these others off, but knew Rosie would never be safe. She called her daughter-in-law in tears as she was afraid of Rosie because of the false image this wonderful breed carries, but knew that every life deserved far better than this. The daughter-in-law rushed right over to see what she could do. As soon as the back of the trailblazer was opened and the crate it held opened too, Rosie jumped right in and was more than ready for her own move.

While at her initial rescuer's house she proved that she is not only a beautiful girl on the outside but even more beautiful when you see how much love and loyalty this girl has to offer. Rosie crated beautifully, proved that she is potty trained, and even got along with the little dogs of the house. She was not crazy about the older, larger, bossier/alpha female dog who did not like her being there. So, if she is a second dog, personality of the first is very important. The most important thing is she just wants to be loved.

Rosie is heartworm negative, vaccinated, spayed and microchipped. If you can foster Rosie, or better yet are able to give Rosie her forever home, please contact Scout's Honor right away. She is happy to be safe, but had rather be hugged and loved in your home than stuck in boarding.
