Roo

Most of you saw the initial plea for Roo (fka Mellow/Trio) come out the last few weeks of April and then she was safe in our program.  Roo has 336 followers on Facebook and countless daily requests for updates on her.  However, no one has stepped up to give this girl a foster home!! 

Roo earned her new name because she bounces with sheer joy like a kangaroo.  She is a tiny girl and weighs 29 pounds, is full grown and approximately 12-18 months old.  Roo’s front right leg stops at the elbow and is a birth defect. It is not an injury, nor does it bother her.  She has grown up like this and is just as quick as the next dog, if only on 3 legs!  Roo is currently in doggie day care & loves to run around with other dogs and play all day.  She gets along great with both big & small dogs and is also totally cat friendly.  The loves water too and will be happy to take a dip in the baby pool.  She radiates happiness and you won’t be able to anything but smile in her presence.  When she is done playing and worn out, she will plop down in your lap for a cuddle. She will also ask for a belly rub at every opportunity. 

I want to thank the endless list of people that went out to look for Roo, day & night.  It was amazing to see all the caring responses.  Help us keep it moving by finding her a foster, or better yet, a forever home of her own!
