Romeo 1

My name is Romeo.   My foster mom named me Romeo since I am such an affectionate boy.  I just love to be near my people.
I have been told that I look just like Toto from the Wizard of Oz movie.  That makes sense since I am a Cairn Terrier.
I only weigh 6 pounds soaking wet from my bath.   The vet estimates that I am a year to a year and a half old so I have many happy years ahead of me.   
I came to Scouts Honor Rescue from my foster mom's neighborhood.  Somehow I got lost and ended up on the streets scared, hungry, and thirsty having lost my way home and sadly no one was looking for me.    I relied on the kindness of strangers in the neighborhood for at least a week.   Seven or so kind neighbors worried and fussed over me.  They tried to coax me to come home with them for days on end but I was so scared of everyone.   I did finally break down and decide to bunk with a few neighbors who had kids and other dogs to play with.   I figured they might be good people so I trusted them.   The neighbors networked me on the homeowners association FaceBook page and my foster mom took me in.    Scouts Honor Rescue graciously accepted me into the foster program.   I am currently looking for a forever home with some activity.  I like walks around the block a couple of times a day so I can socialize and see what is happening around town.  Since I am a small dog I can live in just about any size home.    I am a great cuddler.  I love to sit in laps.
