Rocky is a beautiful Boxer who is only a couple years old.  Rocky was brought into the emergency vet that Scout's Honor uses a few weeks ago and was injured when he was hit by a car. His owners said that they could not afford to treat him so they wanted to euthanize him. The doctor at the emergency vet contacted Scout's Honor and told us about him and asked if we could help. The doctor also told us that it apppeared that his injuries were not recent and that he had likely been hit by a car a while ago and was never treated. He walked on only three legs and would not put any weight on one of his rear legs. Scout's Honor felt so bad for this boy that we stepped up and took him in. He recently had hip surgery to repair his injuries and will make a full recovery.

 

Rocky is currently in a foster home with two other dogs and 5 cats. He has gotten attached to one of his foster brothers who is a Corgi. He is also very friendly wi th all people he meets.

 

Rocky really likes his crate and even likes to sleep in it when the door is open. Overall he is just a sweet dog who would do good in a home with kids, dogs or cats - or all of the above . Won't you think about giving Rocky a chance and a second start at life.
