Meet Rio!

Our beautiful old soul.  Rio is not even 2 yet, but her wisdom shows through those beautiful eyes.  Poor baby girl found herself in the hospital ward at BARC and in jeopardy due to a mild kennel cough. Totally not a big deal and you would never even know by how she acts. She's a young and playful girl that will steal your heart in one glance!

Rio is gentle on a leash.  If she gets ahead, she will walk a few steps, stop and look back to make sure you're there and wait until you catch up.  Rio has a delicate prance, but still bows down to play when you're ready!  She is gentle with her doggie friends and would be a great companion for any family.

This beautiful girl is a 1-2 year old Bluetick Catahoula mix. She weighs about 50lbs. She would be a perfect vistor if you are interested in fostering her until her forever home comes along.  Even if you can only spring her for the weekend - she wouldn't mind!  Scout's Honor Rescue covers all costs associated with fostering including vet care, providing a crate and monthly heartworm and flea prevention. We will also provide a tax deduction receipt for foster's own documented expenses relating to the Scout's Honor Rescue dog being fostered
