  Meet sweet brothers Buster and Ringo! These babies are approximately 2-year-old lab mixes.

Buster and Ringo were born in a field in April 2007 and were rescued two days later. They were kept with their parents and brothers and sisters until they were around 7 months old. Soon thereafter, they were adopted by someone in Dallas. We just found out that the owner lost his job a year ago and did not tell anyone or ask for help. And unfortunately, it was Buster and Ringo who really suffered.

Both of these kiddos suffer from demodectic mange (the NON-contagious kind, and their hair will grow back). They were kept outside in the heat and scratched off a lot of their hair and are very underweight. When they were rescued, their skin was too painful to touch.

Buster and Ringo have never lived indoors, but they would be easily housetrained with the right supervision. These boys do not react to cats, so we believe they would be just fine with them, and they are good with other dogs.

Both dogs are extraordinarily loving, and if you sit on the floor, Ringo will be in your lap. Buster and Ringo are in a temporary foster home, but need a new foster ASAP. While we'd love for them to go together, they do not have to.
