Meet Quincy!

A gem of a boy - that's our Quincy!! Quincy was picked up as a stray and ended up at the SPCA. His owners never came looking for him, which is probably for the best seeing as how he was not very well taken care of. Quincy had virtually no hair on his rear-end and most of his back. The hair loss was due to his having fleas, and irritated skin and scratching constantly. Luckily, with a couple baths, flea medicine and some good food in his belly, all his hair has about grown back and he is a beautiful boy. He is a very sweet boy too! We can tell that he was just left outside and never was paid much attention, as he did not know any commands, and pulled on the leash. That all is changing quickly though as he has an amazing foster mom and dad and canine siblings that are teaching him the ropes of living in a loving home. True to the Rottie breed, he is very smart and has picked up on things quickly and is a super- fast learner.

He has great house manners – no counter surfing, leaves trash cans alone, stays where you ask, absolutely LOVES other dogs, and no problems with food, toys, or even being picked up (not that the average person would be picking up an 80 plus pound boy, but his foster dad has made sure he’s ok if you decide to). His foster canine siblings consist of another Rottie and a smaller Corgi Mix. He does great with both and just LOVES to make friends. He’s also great in his crate and crate-trained perfect. He has no accidents indoors and goes out to potty right when he is told to. He does LOVE playing ball and would also make a great jogging partner. All in all, your typical perfect Rottie – amazing family member and loyal forever!!

Quincy is a medium sized Rottie at around 80 pounds or so and is only a few years old. Rotties are sweet and loyal companions, so please give this guy a chance and let him into your home. We promise he will win you over if you let him.
