Meet Pumpkin Pie (Pumpkin for short)! Pumpkin is a little Corgi/Terrier mix that was found while we were searching for our lost boy Rhett over Thanksgiving almost 2 years ago! We got a call from a nice lady who thought she had spotted our lost boy and when we showed up to see, we saw Pumpkin. She looked just like the picture of our lost boy Rhett (now found), just half the size. She weighs in at a petite 35 lbs (perfect cuddling size) and is about 8 years old. She is a super sweet girl who is very gentle and gets along with everyone she meets. She is a bit hard of hearing these days and so her foster mom claps when approaching this little lady while she's fast asleep. When we were taking her to the vet she just sat in the passenger seat very proper until she decided to curl up in a ball and nap the rest of the way. She also walks great on a leash and stays right by your side. This baby girl was definitely someone’s pet at some point. The poor sweetie was lost and alone for Thanksgiving (hence the name Pumpkin Pie) and now has a second chance.
She is in a foster home and does great indoors! Impeccable house manners! She has a few canine foster brothers and sister that she does well with, but she would also do great as an only dog. She a mature lady and rambunctious younger dogs and kiddos are not really her thing these days. She's really looking for a quiet, low-key environment in her Golden Years. She takes a bit to warm up to new dogs, but as long as they are low-key like her, she typically does just fine. She’s a quiet, laid-back little thing and just as cute as a button! Pumpkin is not a real active little girl, but she does enjoy her daily strolls and will get frisky when the mood strikes her. What Pumpkin loves more than anything is to lounge around and lay on her little bed. She would do best in a home without small children as they are just too active for this calm girl. She would make a great addition to a low-key household.
She's spayed, up to date on vaccinations and micro-chipped.
