Please meet Pita (pronounced "PEETA"). She was hiding underneath an abandoned house when a kind man spotted her. She had an injured leg and was very shy. The kind man continued to feed her thankfully to gain her trust which took about 2 weeks. Once that was done, he set a trap and immediately captured her and brought her to safety. Turns out she is a very sweet, kind and gentle female dog about one year old. Her leg injury was not too critical. She is now gaining weight and the leg has healed and she is standing on it. She has made a full recovery and is looking to find a forever home. Her passive nature is so sweet, she just tucks her head between your legs and is blossoming but would do much better in a foster or permanent home as soon as possible. She's got that beautiful blue eye and her coat is spotted black amongst some short brown hair and her unique marking and just beautiful. She's currently in boarding so a foster or permanent home is critical for her continued improvement.
