Meet Pinky & Mac!

A couple of months ago we witnessed several puppies that were dumped up at the lake. More amazing is how many people looked the other way as the puppies wandered around lost and wondering what just happened. Luckily, Scout’s Honor reps were there and these cuties are now looking for permanent homes!

Mac & Pinky are Cattle Dog / Red Heeler Mix puppies, approximately 6 months old and weigh 30 lbs each (Mac might be a smidge bigger than his sister). They are awfully cute and super playful – typical puppies.  Mac & Pinky are BIG, I mean huge, fans of water.  Mac has been known to even try to get in the shower/bath tub anytime it’s turned on. He had a fun trip to the beach and loved every minute of it! Pinky’s foster has a kiddie pool and she is the first one in every time.  When the hose is running, she tries to catch the water with her mouth. These two are wiggle worms that bend back and forth with excitement and bring happiness with them wherever they go.  Eager to play with just about anyone, they are equally excited about learning. These two, like most cattle dogs, are very smart and are quick to assess the situation.

Mac & Pinky are both house-trained & crate-trained & fully vetted!  They both do great with kids and cats and would make super fun family pets!  Active families would find themselves very happy with either of these sweeties.
