Peyton James

Meet our sweet young Yellow Lab, Peyton Jane (f/k/a Princess or Praline) and her heart wrenching story. Peyton was adopted from BARC (Houston pound) a mere 7-8 months ago as a good looking healthy 3-4 month old puppy (pic attached). She was taken home and, by our vet's estimation, immediately neglected. Then, the same cruel people brought her back to BARC so she could be one of the countless to be euthanized.  Her foster mom has taken good care of her and she's just a beauty now - you would never know she was the same dog.

Peyton Jane is a great dog! She is bursting with energy and loves to play tug and wrestle with her foster brother. She is a great fetcher and has newly discovered she can make toys "squeak" and loves to hear the noise. She gets along well with other dogs, and overall loves to play with everyone she has met. Her foster mom takes her to the dog park often and she just has a ball! She is curious about cats, but doesn't pay too much attention to them. She is good with "sit" and her foster mom is working on "stay" but they have to work in small spurts as her attention span is that of a puppy. Peyton is only about 10-12 months old, about 45-50lbs and otherwise healthy. She likes her crate and is crate-trained.  She's an amazing little lady who has never looked back and lives her life to the fullest!

Peyton Jane is spayed, up to date on vaccination and micro-chipped.
