This is Persia. And boy does she deserve an amazing home for her final years. Her story is heartbreaking!

Persia was adopted from the spca as a pup by a guy who should not have had a dog. He suffered from anger issues as well as depression. This poor girl has been through a lot. But he kept her until he was recently moving when he turned her into a high kill shelter in Houston.  Fortunately, when his sister found out she rushed to get her, knowing she could not keep her but also that Persia deserved better.

Persia is 13 years old, has several tricks. She is potty trained to the point that even once you get outside, she will not go until you tell her to.

Persia loves treats!!! And she deserves lots of love and a whole lot of happiness and fun. She gets along with other dogs and even cats. As she has gotten older little kids seem to make her nervous, so probably a no kids or older kid home would be best.
