This little girl with the beautiful soft brown eyes goes by the name of Perci (short for Perciful). She was literally starving on the streets – skin and bones and covered with fleas. Somehow, she knew which car to run up to and ask for a ride. Within a few hours, she had received a good bath and a nice bowl of food. Little Perci had so many intestinal parasites that her gums had lost their nice pink color. It took her a few days for her to put on some weight and get back on her feet. All the while, she kept her loving personality and stole everyone’s heart that met her. Perci weighs 15 lbs., 6-8 months old and looks to be a beagle/whippet mix. She is current on her vaccines and tests negative for heartworms. She is scheduled to be spayed soon and will be ready for that special home she can call her own.
