Peppy

Meet Peppy,

Peppy was picked up after being spotted running around the Heights for about a week. After a bit of a chase we were finally able to catch him. When we got him and put him in the car we could tell that he was very scared. All the way to the vet, and even while at the vet, he just stayed low to the ground and even was shaking. He was dirty with mud on him, and was so badly infested with fleas you could see them crawling all over him. Other than being filthy, he was in good shape. The vets gave him a thorough checkup and he is completely healthy. 

He is very sweet and likes ALL dogs and every person he meets. He likes to be petted but sometimes just buries his head in the floor or your lap as if he is hiding his head. He's a little shy with people at first, but give him about 30 minutes and he's your typical Labby pup.  Peppy is about 65-70 pounds and is only about 1-2 years old. He is up to date on all his shots and is heartworm negative. Now that he is safe and off the streets, won't you let him into your home so he can become the awesome dog that we know he is.  Boarding is just not the place for this awesome boy, he wants to be in a home where he can run and play and be the fun-loving boy he is.  Please consider fostering this great boy while he waits for his forever home!
