Hello my name is Penelope and I’m glad you clicked on my picture. Let me tell you a little about myself, I had a rough start in my short little life. I was found at BARC with an embedded collar around my neck, some nice people took me to the vet where I was treated and taken care of. I’m now living with my foster family; gaining weight and learning to be a puppy. The first few days at my foster family’s I had a funny little walk due malnutrition and lack of exercise but everyday my front legs are stronger and my walk is improving, soon I’ll be running laps around people.  I’m really a love bug trapped in a black lab body. My best fur-friend is a 100 chocolate lab, I like to follow him around and give him lab kisses. I also don’t mind cats. So don’t believe the rumors you hear about black dogs , we make smart, loving dogs and we never go out of style.  Don’t forget; rescue dogs are loyal dogs. And the wounds around my neck are almost healed and won’t require any extra addition care. All I need is love, food and water.  I’m 35 lbs right now &7-8 months old.   Everyone tells me I’m going to still be a little girl when all grown up.Thanks for looking at me and have a great day - I am .   Woof,   Penelope.
