Meet Pappy!

Believe it or not, this is Pappy in the after shots! SHR rescued Pappy from BARC after he was picked up as a stray. Upon further investigation, we learned that this sweet little guy was previously at BARC back in July of 2011! Apparently he was adopted to a not so nice or caring person who let him not only wind up back at BARC, but in the condition he was in. We originally thought this sweet boy was a Poodle, but were very surprised when all that matted hair was shaved - he's a tiny Cocker Spaniel!

Pappy is about 2 years old or younger, neutered, up to date on vaccinations, micro-chipped and amazingly heartworm negative (probably because of all that matted hair!).

We need to find a home for Pappy!  He LOVES other dogs and loves to play! Pappy is definitely one that likes to be in the mix of the house and around the action!  He would be a fabulous addition to any home!
