I’m a soon to be two year old Bassett. My official birthday is March 26th, 2007 and I’m 51 lbs of love. I started life in Kansas as a wedding present but when the marriage went bad, so did my circumstances. Suddenly, no one had time for me and I was left by myself a lot. I decided to hitch a ride with a gal from Scout’s Honor Rescue to Houston where I am now enrolled for adoption. I’m currently living with a nice foster family until I find my forever home. They say I have pretty good manners but need some work in the housetraining department. I’m getting the hang of it and soon I’ll be perfect. I live with a cat who really doesn’t care for me but I like him. I like other dogs except for puppies who are hyper and jump in my face. I’m a bit shy and besides, that’s just rude! I’m great on a leash and just lay in the grass when my human stops to talk with her friends in the neighborhood. I’ve got a lot of love to give the right human. These photos do not do me justice.
