Meet Neville,

Neville had been spotted several times in and around the Timbergrove neighborhood but was hard to catch because he was just roaming around and seemed afraid. Finally on about the third or fourth time we saw him we were able to catch him when he ran into someone's yard. He just wasn't too sure of people - and after we rescued him, we sure knew why... Our sensitive guy was apparently tethered to something for quit some time by the permanent scaring around his neck.

Poor Neville was very dirty and had a lot of junk in his fur, but otherwise was in decent shape (heartwom negative!). He is about 45 pounds and the vets think he is about 5-6 years old, so he will not get any bigger. He is a cute boy with long fluffy hair. We think he is a Australian Shepherd / St. Bernard mix (just pint sized for a Saint!)

Neville is on the shy side at first, but will warm up to you fairly quick if you just sit down and pet him. Neville is in a foster home now with 3 other dogs and a cat and loves them all. Once he bonds with you and feels comfortable he is very as sweet as they come. He LOVES his dog beds as well and you can always find him curled up on a bed enjoying the comfort that he never saw as a lonely dog on the street. He is very well-behaved inside and just wants to cuddle and get attention.

Neville is healthy and happy now and has been groomed and looks beautiful. He is house-trained and does not mess anything up. This special boy really deserves a second chance at life! Can you be the one to give it to him?

Neville is neutered, up to date on vaccinations and micro-chipped..
