Nevada

Meet sweet Nevada!!  This darling girl was found as a stray in a southwest neighbor hood here in Houston.  People in the neighborhood kept seeing her and she was clearly far away from home and alone on the streets.  We are pretty sure she was just dumped there.  Thankfully, her kind foster stepped in and got this sweet girl off the streets and into Scout’s Honor Adoption Program. Nevada is a love bug; she loves to be around people and loves to give kisses to everyone she meets. When she is being walked, she wants to go and say hello to everyone she meets along the way. She is good with other dogs and also loves to give other dogs kisses too.  She is one of the most affectionate dogs you will ever meet.

Nevada is well behaved in the car and likes to lay down in the back seat when the car is moving and looking out the window. She enjoys walks and will also make a wonderful running or jogging buddy.  She loves her foster doggie brother and they play for hours on end so she will also make a great companion for another doggie who enjoys playing.  She is a snuggle bunny and just a love and enjoys just being with her person and doggie brothers. 

 Nevada is a young, energetic American Pitbull Terrier/American Staffordshire Terrier mix.  She has the most gorgeous chocolate, faint brindle coat the is so unique.  She is about a year old.  She is great with people and kids and other dogs; we think she will do best in a home without cats - she just wants to chase them (we do not think she wants to hurt them but definitely would love to chase them all round the house). Nevada has been spayed and micro-chipped and is up-to-date on her shots.
