Meet Nero!

Nero is a 3-4 year old male Rottie who was picked up by BARC as a stray and was on the list to be euthanized until Scout's Honor came along and saved him in the nick of time. Nero is a very sweet boy who LOVES to play with his tennis ball more than anything in the world. When one of our volunteers was taking him to his vet appointment he found a tennis ball in the car and wanted to play tennis ball on the way to the vet. He is a smart boy too and picks up on things quickly. He knows how to sit, drop it, and can catch treats out of the air if you toss them to him. He is a super friendly boy and loves to be petted and get attention.  He seems to like most other dogs, but proper introductions are a must.  Would do best in a home with out cats.  He rides great in the car and has impeccable house manners. 
Nero recently got to attend the dog show at Reliant Center as a Scout's Honor ambassador, and did very well. He met lots of people and was such a charmer that everyone fell in love with him. Nero is also good with children as long as they are not too small, because they can be a little too much for him. Please consider giving this boy a second chance and think of fostering or adopting him. Nero promises that he will love you forever if you do. Nero is about 75-80 pounds, neutered, microchipped and fully vetted.
